Aims | To help us to:
- Reflect on and synthesise the groups analysis.
- Identify the core systemic and structural dynamics shaping South Africa today.
- Consider the strategic, political and programmatic implications for health equity, social change and leadership development.
Task Plenary: Critical reflection
There will be three parts to this session:
- Refined presentations: The conversation will begin by hearing the refined 5-minute presentations from each group’s presenter so that everyone gets the benefit in plenary. Facilitators will offer a synthesis summary of the picture that has emerged. (20 minutes)
- Provocation: Facilitators will offer their responses, perspectives and additional challenges to the analyses coming through the day. They will offer their views on the strategic, political and programmatic implications for health equity, social change and leadership development. (20 minutes)
- Plenary debate and summation: The floor will then be open for a closing reflection on what we’ve learned through the day in analyzing our current context in terms of both content and the process. (20 minutes)
