- Think through the Social Change Initiative you are grappling with, it’s conceptualisation, direction and what this means for your leadership development for the year
- Begin thinking about SCI group collaborations
Task 1 Plenary
Engaging Tekano partners and hosts
This is our first collective engagement on the SCIs, speaking about what we came in with, what we want to work on and where we need to be at the end of the first year of the Fellowship. For this session we will be joined by Tekano partners and hosts in person, and those who cannot be in the room will connect virtually.
This time together is an opportunity to:
- Initiate and establish a relationship with potential host organisations
- Build on the thinking and ideas shared on the SCI during recruitment
- Map-out the year of hosting and SCI management
- Begin the social contracting between hosts and fellows
Hosts have agreed to facilitate this session, with the following set of guidelines for our time together:
- A fun introduction of everyone
- Fellows speak about the SCI’s they came in with and their thoughts on working collaboratively
- Hosts speak about their work and how they can support the thinking in the room
- Finally, a collective discussion on the next steps.
